She may also be one of the reasons why Mae went to afterschool churchgoing events, being a devout herself. Her relationship with her family is never explored, although it can be implied that her marriage with Mae's Grandfather was at least rocky. Little is known about Grandmama, besides her being a devout churchgoer and believer of the Church of the First Coalesce and it's teachings. Grandmama Borowski was Mae's Grandmother, Stan Borowski's mother, and Mae's Granddad's late wife. According to Mae, he was doomed from the start because of his name. Given that his name was on a memorial, he did not survive the conflict.
