![]() ![]() Check any folder or special item you want in the sidebar, like Documents or All My Files. I uninstall TotalFinder, remove all preferences and reinstall it with the same issue. In the Finder, select Finder > Preferences. (Alternatively, remove your routers IP address, and add your Macs local IP) - the whole point with this is to force the network configuration to update, so the old 'ghost' network shares disappears. Suddenly, TotalFinder is not working as expected : the sidebar is missing. Apple has it off by default but if I can turn it on, it would help solve an issue that is unique to our environment. ![]() Besides making TotalFinder more stable, we added some new features that have been often requested by customers. ![]() TotalSpaces 1.2.2 was released just last week and added a lot of new features TotalFinder brings back colored sidebar. In any case, the key is still kLSSharedFileListFavoriteItems. If there is no entries there, add your routers IP. Under the locations section in the sidebar is the computer setting to turn on whether it shows up there or not. TotalFinder 1.4.9 has been in the wild for a month now and has been doing great. In fact, if you Cmd-Shift-O (in Xcode) and type LSSharedFileList, then navigate to the only result, you'll see in the jump bar that the header is indeed now contained within amework. The LSSharedFileList header says this has moved to the CoreServices framework. ![]()
